Doyle, Christine M. May 21, 2025, age 70 of Ann Arbor. Loving wife of Timothy. Cherished mom of Matthew, Thomas (Marianne Fulton) and David. She will be greatly missed by her siblings, Linda (the late Michael) Smith, the late Patrick (Christine) Lesperance, James (Carolyn) Lesperance, Roseann (Kevin) Roose, and Mary (Paul) Berry. Her memory will live in the hearts of many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Thomas and Lorraine (nee Burkel) Lesperance. Christine was a passionate person who loved life and everyone around her. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Madonna University. She loved science and considered careers in marine biology or nursing, but chose to focus on business and accounting. She worked for Madonna University when she met Tim. After having children, she eventually joined her family’s business and did the bookkeeping for Detroit Stool and Chair. She loved being close to her family both in the office and in the farmhouse next door. Later she worked as a manager at Sears and then as the cook at the Delta Gamma sorority house. She made lasting friendships with the people she worked with everywhere she went. The girls at the sorority loved her cooking and all of the daily cookies she would bake for them, while the boys that cleaned the kitchen looked forward to the extras she would set aside for them to take home after their shifts. Christine continued to work hard and follow her passions as she joined her sister Mary’s gardening business. She loved gardening and the outdoors and being close to her family. Never one to slow down, Christine continued to work with dedication and passion up until the end. She did not let her illness define her. Throughout her life Christine always focused on others and shared her passions with friends and family alike. Whether it was going to garage sales and antiquing on the weekends with her mother, serving as a den leader for her sons’ Boy Scout troops, or gardening with her sisters and neighbors, she loved life most when she was busy surrounded by loved ones. Memorial Gathering will take place on Saturday, May 31 from 11AM-1PM at Vermeulen-Sajewski Funeral Home, 46401 Ann Arbor Road West (between Sheldon and Beck), Plymouth, followed by a Memorial Service at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 PM. Following the service, a luncheon will take place at the family home.
