Marie C. Rix 90, formerly of Plymouth died on September 12, 2008 at Tecumseh Place, Tecumseh MI. She is survived by her children Patricia (Terry) Patton of Ann Arbor, Carolyn (Tom) Rougeaux of Mt Juliet, Tennessee, Kathy (Randy) Tripp of Adrian, and Doug (Jane) Rix of Rockford, Illinois; grandchildren Heather Patton (Mark Hilgers), Justin (Leah) Tripp, Sara (Jeff) Johnson, and Holly Tripp; great grandchildren Taylor and Emily Patton, Makenna and Mason Johnson, and Drew Hilgers and one sister Dorothy Dixon of Berkley MI as well as nieces and nephews.�She was preceded in death by her husband Gilbert in 1998, her parents, grandson Bradley Patton and his wife Kristin, great grandson Nathan Patton, a sister Della Brinkman and a brother Edgar Armbruster.�Marie was born and raised in Sebewaing MI to Herbert and Sarah (Hofmeister) Armbruster on July 16, 1918.� After graduating from high school, she moved downstate to Royal Oak where she met and married the love of her life, Gilbert Rix on July 12, 1941.� She was a very loving mother and homemaker to whom family was precious.�She loved to bake, especially fresh bread and special birthday cakes for the grandchildren.�Later when her children were almost grown, she became a secretary for Stark Reagan law firm in Troy MI.� After retirement, she and her husband moved from Rochester MI to Plymouth MI to be closer to family. The family extends special thanks to the staff of Tecumseh Place II who provided loving care and helped to give her last years special meaning.� We will always be grateful to you! Also, thanks to Hospice of Lenawee County for their attentive and caring help and support.� Services for Marie will be held�Monday September 15th at 11 am at Risen Christ Lutheran Church, 46250 Ann Arbor Rd, �in Plymouth MI with the Rev.
