Patricia “Patti” Ann Mackiewicz September 29, 1946 - June 20, 2026 Patricia Mackiewicz, lovingly known as Patti to many who knew her, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2026 at the age of 79. Patricia lived a life centered on love, generosity, and family. She had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel welcome, whether through a warm smile, a caring conversation, or a delicious home-cooked meal. She found great joy in feeding others, believing that the way to show love was to gather people around the table. Her home was a place of comfort, laughter, and full plates, where no one ever left hungry. Patricia had a special love for all children. Their laughter brought her happiness, and she delighted in watching them grow, encouraging them with kindness, patience, and unconditional love. Her nurturing spirit touched not only her own family but also countless friends and neighbors whose lives were brighter because of her. She is survived by her husband Paul, her son Gregory, his wife Amy; her daughter Jennifer; her son Geffrey; her sister Sheryl and her husband Brian; her brother Mike and his wife Rita. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Julian, Lola, Annette, and Louis, who brought immeasurable joy to her life. She cherished every moment spent with them and leaves behind memories they will always carry with them. Patricia will be remembered for her generous heart, unwavering love for her family, and her ability to make everyone feel cared for. Her kindness, compassion, and selfless spirit will continue to live on in the lives of those she loved and in the countless memories shared around family tables. Though she will be deeply missed, Patricia's legacy of love, generosity, and devotion to family will remain a lasting source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew her. A celebration of Patricia's life will be held in the gathering space at Our Lady of Good Council Catholic Church, 47650 North Territorial Road, Plymouth, on Friday, July 17 at 10:00 AM, followed by a Mass at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that those wishing to honor Patricia's memory consider sharing a meal with someone in need or performing an act of kindness in her honor—a fitting tribute to a woman whose greatest joy was caring for others.
