William Michael Davey - March 20, 2026, age 58 of Canton. Beloved son of the late James George Davey and Sandra Lee Davey. Loving brother of Jimmy Davey (Michele), Tommy Davey (Kristin), and Christina Camara (Mory). Billy “Bo” Davey was born in March 20th of 1968 to Sandra and James. He departed this life on his birthday, March 20, 2026, leaving behind a legacy rooted in love, laughter, and unwavering dedication. Known to many as “Bo” or “Big Bo,” he was a man of simplicity, strength, and heart. Above all, Bo was a devoted family man who cherished time spent with his loved ones. He found true joy in being surrounded by family and friends, always appreciating the people who stood beside him throughout life. Billy was a hardworking man who started out as a lineman at Detroit Edison. He then progressed on and built a respected career as a master excavator with Levine and Son’s. When beginning his journey as a lineman, he then went on to become highly skilled in his trade, known for his dedication, reliability, and strong work ethic. He worked tirelessly and remained loyal to his work throughout his life. Outside of his career, Bo had a lively spirit and a love for life’s simple pleasures. He enjoyed playing pool, darts, and singing karaoke, and was always ready to share a laugh. In his younger years, he played softball, football, and even boxed, carrying that same toughness and energy throughout his life. Billy was known for his playful nature and unforgettable personality—a true prankster who could light up any room. He enjoyed time at the casino, visits to China Star & Nautilus in Westland, and moments filled with laughter and storytelling. He also had a deep love for dogs, which brought joy to both him and his family. He had a loving cat, Fluffy also who was his companion the past couple years. With his bold style and unmistakable presence—often seen in his Zuba pants—Bo carried himself with confidence and individuality. A loyal fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, he took pride in the things he loved and the life he built. Bo will also be remembered for his thoughtfulness. He never missed an opportunity to reach out to loved ones, especially during the holidays—often singing “Happy Birthday” and sending flowers, small gestures that meant so much and left lasting memories. Billy’s legacy is one of love, loyalty, humor, and strength. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 16th, friends and family will gather from 10:30 AM until the Mass at 11 AM at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 44800 Warren Road, Canton.
