Sovinski Jr., William Joseph “Bill” March 8, 2022 age 69 of Romulus. Beloved husband of Catherine (nee Merritt) for 45 years. Loving father of Marjorie (Halford) Haskell, William III (Kelly), Kaitlin, Johanna (John) Zwally and Angela (Michael) Bustamante. Proud Papa of Julia, Dani, Sam, Evey, Liam, Mike, Maddie, Jay, Charlie, Eddie and Lukey. Dear son of the late William and the late Frances Sovinski. Big brother of Barbara (Steven) Vorva, Deborah (Ron) Gardner and the late Charles Sovinski. Son in law of Marjorie and the late Gerald Merritt. Also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, brother in laws and sister in laws. William was a member of St. Aloysius Church in Romulus for over 43 years and a retired electrician from IBEW Local 58. Visitation Sunday, March 13th 1-8 PM at Vermeulen-Sajewski Funeral Home, 980 N. Newburgh Road (between Ford Road and Cherry Hill) Westland. Rosary 6:30 PM. In state Monday, March 14th 9:30 AM until the 10 AM Funeral Mass at Divine Child Catholic Church, 1055 N. Silvery Lane, Dearborn. Interment St. Hedwig Cemetery, Dearborn Heights.
